This image pays homage to the beautiful airplanes that once graced the skies. Robust and beautifully engineered, these aircraft are rarely seen today. The black and white montage makes the red of the Swiss flag pop, remembering a story that cut deep into Swiss national pride... here the dream lives on.

This print is part of the ‘Tour De Suisse’ illustrations by designer Gareth Knott of LEKKA: a fresh new take on icons of Switzerland, designed in Zurich.
